Immunological effects of Ginseng

Laboratory researches have shown that the Ginseng, much used in traditional Chinese and other Asian medicine, does have anti-inflammatory effects. The scientists treated human immune cells with different extracts of ginseng. Ginseng has seven ginseng constituents, ginsenosides, which showed immune-suppressive effects. The anti-inflammatory role of ginseng is due to the combined effects of these ginsenosides, targeting different levels of immunological activity, and so contributing to the diverse actions of ginseng in humans. Scientists are examining the potential beneficial effects of ginsenosides in the management of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases in humans.

Its Immunological effects can be utilized in various drugs for the cure of multiple diseases such as tumor, cancer, Aids etc. Ginseng has long been used in traditional Chinese and other Asian medicine such as ginseng energy supplement, naturally contains anti-inflammatory effects that may be used to make immunological medications, according to a study.
